Stopped by this afternoon after reading reviews online. I was extremely excited to try the catfish and Mac n cheese. The food far exceeded my expectations. We ordered a bunch of food to take home. All of it was phenomenal. Well seasoned, cooked to perfection. This is now the best place I’ve eaten in Michigan.
Lamb chops were beautifully seasoned and had a great flavor punch. Great portion. Seafood Mac was just as well seasoned. More saucy than cheese pull. Glad to see the tails still on the shrimp for the FLAVOR. Amazing portion as this was just a side. All other sides were great! Will be visiting at least once a week.
We ordered the fish soul tray and the hot honey shrimp. The smell alone was heavenly! The flavor was divine! It is clear that Greg puts a lot of love into his creations. Our meals were so delicious and very filling. Thank you, Greg, for a wonderful dining experience. We will be back soon!
Our food was absolutely delicious. We were in town from Chicago and had seen this restaurant on TikTok and had to stop by. The service was amazing, food was phenomenal, worth every penny!
Customer service was great, super clean, and portions are worth the price. The food has so much flavor! The menu is full of options and can’t wait to come back try more off the menu. Loved all of our food we got. You can tell a lot of thought was put into everything that he makes! 10/10
My husband brought me here as a request for my birthday and the owner himself helpled us pick everything we had to eat. I had a loaded frie appetizer and seasfood platter. My husband had the BBQ chicken mac. Thank you Greg!! We wilk be back
Upon first entering the restaurant, I noticed the cleanliness. The owner himself greeted me w/ a smile and prepared to box my freshly cooked catfish, and greens. My meal held up well during travel. Everything was seasoned well. The hush puppies were honey-glazed and tasty! A friend had the greens (w/ smoked turkey) and said they were delicious! The catfish breading was the perfect ratio of crunchy/crispy/seasonings. The blue Koolaid was a perfect finish. Highly recommend Gregg’s Gourmet! Great service, fresh & delicious food- can’t beat it!
If you haven't eaten here....what is wrong with you? This food is by far the best I have found in the area! Smothered catfish is TOP NOTCH, the pasta is one of the best I've had. Price is right for what you get. Generous portions, and killer service from the owner himself. We drive about 15 minutes to get this food and when we get home it's still just as good (I'm sure) as if we ate it there. Go get you some!
